Pawsitive Pet Behavior is searching for a part-time pet sitter to cover the Dayton area providing day-time & overnight pet sitting.

Job Description:

Pet sitters provide care in the client’s home during the day and overnight caring for their pets. Locations vary but all in the Greater Dayton area. This is a part-time job with employee benefits of liability insurance and workman’s comp coverage and unlimited planned time off.

Qualifications:

You are a good fit if you:

  • Minimum of 3 years professional pet sitting experience

  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds without assistance

  • Must be able to work as part of a team or on their own to complete tasks

  • Have experience working with cats, a variety of dog sizes, breeds & personalities, have a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about serving both a team and a pet-loving community.

  • Are able to “read the room” when working with animals and their humans and able to reply with empathy and compassion.

  • Are flexible with working with a small team and comfortable offering ideas and receiving feedback.

  • Have communication and Grammar skills that are A+ for writing, typing, and messaging.

  • Are prompt, punctual and reliable.

  • Have reliable transportation, insurance and a good driving record.

  • Can pass a background check and drug screen.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour plus 100% of tips

Experience:

  • Professional pet-sitting: 3 years (Preferred); Will train the right candidate.

License/Certification:
