Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Responsibilites:
Provide training and behavior modification to clients and their pets according to the company guidelines and standards.
Excellent work ethic & time management skills.
Interacting with the public in a professional manner and excel at building relationships.
Excellent documentation skills using our training platform.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience working with client pets.
Professional certification or able to sit for certification exam through CCPDT, KPA or VSA a bonus.
Are able to “read the room” when working with animals and their humans and able to reply with empathy and compassion.
Are flexible working with a team and comfortable offering ideas and receiving feedback.
Have communication and Grammar skills that are A+ for writing, typing, and messaging.
Are prompt, punctual and reliable.
Have reliable transportation, insurance and a good driving record.
Have a smart phone and good technical skills.
Can pass a background check and drug screen.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Part-time Pet Sitter
Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional pet sitter.
Experience with cats and dogs.
Able to lift 50 lbs and handle boisterous dogs.
Fear Free certification a plus.
