Sarah & Rigby
Sarah Hussong, RVT
Trainer/Registered Veterinary Technician
Choosing a career in animal care was easy for Sarah. For years, her family actively fostered for a local shelter and inspired her love of animals. She began working at the same shelter in 2000 and held many positions during her nine years including animal care technician, adoption counselor, veterinary assistant, foster & trainer. Sarah was especially drawn to training and behavior modification to help dogs on the adoption floor become well-mannered and ready for their fur-ever homes. In 2009, she had the exciting opportunity to travel out of state to work with Service Dogs and Urban Search and Rescue which was incredibly rewarding. Sarah has had many years of training experience with a variety of dogs. Sarah earned her Veterinary Technician degree in 2016, is pet CPR certified and Fear Free trained and is currently accumulating hours to enable her to sit for the CPDT certification exam. Sarah provides in-home training & behavior modification for dogs.

Genevieve provides in-home training in the South Dayton area.
Chelsea Cozad - Pet Sitter
Hello! My name is Chelsea and I am so excited to be joining the Pawsitive Pet Behavior Team! I currently live in Bellbrook with my soon to be husband and two rescue cats— a tabby named Glenn and a Lynx Point Siamese named Gigi. We also are pet parents to a curious Leopard gecko named Leonardo DiGecko (also known as Leo).
I enjoy spending time with my family, who I’m lucky enough to live very close to. My parent’s 8-year old Pomsky, (Pomeranian-Husky) Bandit, and my sister’s 6-year old Huskyhuahua, (yes you read that correctly, a Husky-Chihuahua mix) Scarlett, are both rescues that have become family!
When I’m not with reading a book or watching reality TV with a furry friend on my lap, you can find me on a hike, fishing, or kayaking in one of the area’s amazing nature preserves. I also enjoy traveling and my biggest fears when traveling aren’t so much about the trip itself, but how my animals are handling our time away. A big reason I am so excited about working with the PPB team is that I can offer the care and stability to your pets that I always seek out for mine when away. I very much look forward to meeting and caring for your best friend(s) while you’re away!
