Private and Semi-Private Training
Private training consultations are done in your home.
Follow-up sessions are either done in your home or in a location that is conducive to your goals. If the training goals are specific to environments other than your home such as on a walk, at the vet or pet store, we incorporate these locations into our training program.
Private training is available for single pet households or multiple pet households. Appointments are available during the day, evenings or weekends.

Basic Training Package
Customized package for puppies, new dogs to the home or those who have put off training. Initial consultation is 1.5 hours and is done in your home with all household members present.
This package is customized to include behaviors that are specific to each dog/family situation. The most common situations include housetraining, attention, sit, down, come, leash walking and door greetings. We can also focus on the prevention and/or treatment of inappropriate behaviors such as chewing and jumping.
Package includes consultation and 4 one hour follow ups.
Preparing Your Dog for a New Baby
Don't leave it to chance, cross your paws and hope your dog adjusts!
For families with resident dogs who wish to prepare their pooch for the arrival of a new baby.
Package includes initial consultation which is 1.5 hours and is done in your home with all household members present.
This package focuses on preparing your dog for the sights, sounds and smells of a new baby; evaluation of what your particular pooch might be most sensitive to; establishing or refining good door greetings for all those visitors you will have after the baby arrives and a focus on how your baby's development will affect your dog.
Package includes consultation and 4 one hour follow ups.
Pay-As-You-Go Private Training
Package pricing is recommended but private training is also available on a pay-as-you go basis.
Many problems can be handled with one visit. The consultation is 1 1/2 hours and is $80. If additional visits are desired, the pay-as-you-go rate is $65/hr and are scheduled at your convenience.
Semi-Private Training Package
Semi-private training is available for those interested in sharing sessions with a friend or family member.
Sessions will be done at the home of one of the participants and can be rotated (within the geographical region we cover) at the trainer's/family's discretion.
This option is great for people who would like intermediate or advanced training for their dogs in the presence of their routine playmates, with the bonus of sharing the expense.
Package includes 1.5 hour consultation and 4 one-hour follow ups. There is a limit of four dogs per semi-private training session. Semi-private training is not available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Topic Specific Workshops
For situations where the pet owner is mostly happy with the pet's behavior but there is just that ONE behavior that their pet does that they would like to change.
These 2 hour workshops are done in your home (or start in your home and then progress to the environment where your pet displays the wrong behavior -- such as outside).
Typical situations are door greetings, inappropriate or out-of-control play with people or other dogs, leash walking and jumping; however, this workshop can be tailored for individual situations.
*Topic specific workshops are not available for cases involving aggression.
